But just 1,269 of them do HALF the work.
Just ask Derek Price.
Derek Price analyzed an abundance of research and found that within a company, half of the work is done by the square root of the total number of people – Price’s Law.
With a small company of 25, it’s no big deal that 5 people are doing half the work – it’s expected.
Those 5 are your executives and directors who SHOULD be doing more.
But scale up to 10,000 people and it’s 1% doing 50% of the work.
By the time you reach Amazon, it’s entirely out of control.
While a company is small it has:
✅ Less operational drag
✅ More cohesive teams
✅ A more efficient budget
✅ And the ability to innovate MUCH faster
Small companies actually have an ADVANTAGE over bigger companies,
Not the other way around.
